Our Representative Office in Ukraine is authorized to provide all ships in need with the Wreck Removal Certificates (WRC, 2007).
The Palau has acceded to the Nairobi International Convention on the Removal of Wrecks, 2007 which will enter into force on the 14th April 2015.
Registered owners of ships above 300GT will need insurance cover arrangements, which meet the requirements of the Convention. The Convention provides a strict liability, compensation and compulsory insurance regime for States affected by a maritime casualty. It makes the registered owner of a ship liable for locating, marking and removing a wreck deemed to be a hazard in a State’s Convention area.
A Blue Card issued by a recognized P&I Insurer, will be evidence of insurance cover being in place and will be used as the basis for the issuance of the Nairobi Convention Certificate
Apply for Wreck Certificate via with requireded documents:
  • Application form (maybe signed by the owner/manager|/agent)
  • Valid scanned copy of Blue card from Approved P & I Club  addressed to:                                               Palau International Ship Registry (PISR) Europe Head Office Piraeus, Greece,                                    185365, Sachtouri Street, 6th floor
  • Valid scanned copy of Certificate of Registry
The Certificate will be valid for the period of the insurance coverage.BCLC will  be issued within 24 hours with providing the copies of issued certificates to your e-mail address and indicated Way Bill Number for tracking of dispatched originals by courier to your address. 
Approved P & I list means approval by PISR. In case your P & I is not included in the list please contact us to assist you with your P & I with Approval. Maritime Administration may accept this P & I provided some documentation. We can help on this paperwork.
