BAREBOAT CHARTER REGISTRATION UNDER FLAG OF UNION OF COMOROS AND FOREIGN FLAG (In/Out)
 
DURATION OF BAREBOAT CHARTER REGISTRATION
 
Duration of such registration shall be conducted for a period not exceeding the duration of the bareboat charter or the expiry date of the underlying registration, whichever is the shorter period but in no case for a period exceeding two years.
 
EXTENTION OF BAREBOAT CHARTER REGISTRATION
 
Further to request of the Charterer or his authorized Agent, the bareboat registration can be extended for the remaining period of the charter or until the expiry date of the underlying registry, whichever is the shorter period but in no case for a period exceeding two years at a time, provided that he has not received any objections to this extension from the appropriate authorities of the underlying registry, the owners and the registered mortgagees, if any, within seven days from the Commissioner having informed them of such request for extension.

  • Updating Good Standing Certificate (of the owning company)
  • Copies of ISM Certificates (DOC & SMC) if applicable
  • Copy of International Tonnage Certificate
  • Confirmation from vessel’s Classification Society (if applicable)
  • Confirmation from responsible Radio Accounting Authority plus AAIC
  • Copy of Previous Registration Certificate
  • Transcript of Register from the latest Registry
  • Copy of the Bareboat Chapter party
  • Written consent from the latest Registry
  • Payment of registration Fees and Annual Taxes (as per Master Tariff)

  • Consent for Bareboat Charter registration Application form (duly filled and signed on the letter head of the owing company)
  • Copy of Bareboat Charter Party (Bareboat Charter agreement)
  • Confirmation from the intended foreign Flag that dual Registration is permitted
  • Return of the Original Comoros Registration Certificates
  • Power of Attorney for the owner and charter who signes Bareboat agreement
  • Payment of Fees
